I'm puzzled, why are my cosmos falling over? It seemed like yesterday they were thriving, vibrant, and full of promise. Now, they're wilting, their colors fading, and their stems bending. I've been following all the best practices, watering regularly, providing ample sunlight, and even fertilizing as needed. Could it be a disease? A pest infestation? Or is it something else entirely? I've invested so much time and effort into these cosmos, and it's heartbreaking to see them struggling. I'm at a loss for what to do. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

It's advisable to avoid planting Cosmos in overly rich soil. Rich soil often contains excessive nutrients, which can encourage excessive vegetative growth and weaken the plants' overall structure.

Good drainage is crucial for Cosmos as it prevents waterlogging, which can lead to root rot and other issues. Well-drained soil allows excess water to easily escape, ensuring the roots stay healthy.
