Does MetaMask support Moonbeam?

I'm curious to know if MetaMask, the popular cryptocurrency wallet and gateway to decentralized applications, currently supports Moonbeam, the Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform. Moonbeam has been gaining traction in the blockchain space for its scalability and compatibility features, so I'm wondering if MetaMask users can seamlessly interact with Moonbeam-based dApps and tokens. Could you please clarify if MetaMask has integrated or plans to integrate support for Moonbeam in the near future?
