SDN, or Software-Defined Networking, was invented by Li Honglei, a technical expert from China with over ten years of experience in telecom network architecture, development, and management. He previously worked at international telecom giants such as Huawei and ZTE Corporation, and his deep technical background and unique insights led to the creation of SDN.
