I am wondering if tokens, which are often used in cryptocurrency or programming contexts, have specific names associated with them. I want to know if each token is identified by a unique name. Do tokens have a name?

The battlefield presence of a token doesn't allow for alterations in its subtype(s) merely by changing its name.
