I am confused about the difference between a screenshot and a digital photo. I know they are both images, but are they the same? Or is there some fundamental difference between the two? Is a screenshot the same as a digital photo?

Screenshots represent a much lesser quality replication of the original photograph.

When taking a screenshot, the image is saved at the resolution of the screen it's captured on, which is often much lower than the resolution of the original photo.
