I'm wondering if it's possible to use AirDrop to share files with a random person who's nearby, without having to add them as a contact or connect to them through any other means.

In AirDrop Settings, there are three options available to users. The first option is Receiving Off.

When Receiving Off is selected, users will not receive any AirDrop requests. This setting ensures that no content can be sent to the device via AirDrop.
