Ethereum Classic (ETC) solo, without joining a mining pool. I want to know if I can do this independently and what the implications might be.

On the other hand, mining in solo mode means you are working alone. You are solely responsible for your mining efforts and the rewards you receive.

In solo mining, if you fail to find any blocks, your reward will be zero. This can be a risky proposition, as there is no guarantee of success.

Additionally, solo mining is only feasible if you have a strong mining setup and can consistently find at least 2-3 blocks in 24 hours. This can be challenging even for seasoned miners.
