Can we buy fractional ETF?

Can someone please clarify for me if it's possible to purchase fractional ETFs? I've been hearing about this concept lately and I'm quite intrigued. I understand that ETFs are usually traded in whole units, but is there a way to invest in just a fraction of an ETF? If so, how does this work and what are the potential benefits or drawbacks of doing so? I'm interested in learning more about this option and how it might fit into my investment portfolio.
