How to connect a WLAN network?

In some cases, you may encounter additional instructions or prompts during the connection process. These instructions could vary depending on the network's security protocols and policies. Always follow these instructions carefully to ensure a smooth and secure connection.

To establish a wireless connection between your PC and the network, initiate the process by locating the Network or Wifi icon in your system's notification area. This icon typically resides in the bottom right corner of your screen, providing quick access to network-related settings and options.

Once you've identified the icon, click on it to reveal a list of available networks within your vicinity. Carefully scan through this list and select the network that you wish to connect to. Make sure you choose the correct network to avoid any potential connectivity issues or security risks.

After selecting the desired network, proceed to click on the "Connect" button. This action will initiate the authentication process, wherein your PC will attempt to establish a secure connection with the selected network.

As part of the authentication process, you will be prompted to enter a security key, commonly referred to as the password. This key is essential for verifying your identity and ensuring that only authorized users can access the network. Type in the correct password carefully and click on the "OK" or "Connect" button to proceed.
