I have a coin with a hole in it and I'm wondering how much it's worth. Is it still considered valid currency or does the hole make it invalid? If it's not valid, is there any collector's value to it?

Typically, coins with this type of damage are valued at around 35%-40% less than a coin of the same grade without a hole.
