How do you get money on electrum?

To use the receive tab in Electrum, start by switching to the “Receive” tab. This is where you will generate a new receiving address for your cryptocurrency transactions.

Once you are in the “Receive” tab, you will see a field labeled “Description”. This is where you can enter a brief note or label to help you remember what the payment is for. It could be something like “rent payment” or “salary”.

If you have a specific amount in mind that you would like to receive, you can enter it in the “Requested Amount” field. This is optional, but it can be helpful if you are expecting a specific payment amount.

Under the “Expiry” section, you can set a time limit for the receiving address. However, if you do not want the address to expire, you can set it to “never”. This will allow you to continue using the address indefinitely.

Once you have entered all the necessary information, click on the “Create Request” button. This will generate a new receiving address for you, which will be displayed in the right part of the tab. You can then share this address with the sender to receive your payment.
