I'm curious about futures contracts, can you please explain something to me? I've heard rumors that someone can hold a futures contract indefinitely, is that true? I mean, does a futures contract have an expiration date or can it be held indefinitely? I'm just trying to understand the mechanics behind it. Also, if it does expire, what happens then?
