I'm curious to know, is it possible to utilize the Hong Kong Octopus card while I'm in Macau? I understand that the Octopus card is a widely accepted form of payment in Hong Kong, but I'm not sure if its functionality extends to neighboring Macau. Excuse me, I have a quick question about currency usage in Macau. I'm planning a trip there soon and I'm wondering if I can use Hong Kong dollars (HKD) while I'm there. I understand that Macau is a special administrative region of China, but I've heard that HKD is widely accepted there. Is that still the case? Are there any places where I might encounter difficulties using HKD, or would it be better to exchange some money into Macau Patacas before I go? Thank you for your help.
